If Lael would ever give a honest answer about his best skill it would be his sweet talking. He is great at telling others exactly what they want to hear and use this for his own advantage and as a way to get out of unpleasant situations. In general he can be called a slippery person, being the type that runs away instead of fighting front on. The only muscles he trained are his legs and brain.

WEAKNESSES:

Despite carrying around a gun Lael is actually a terrible marksman that only really hits things up close. Also he has a short fuse regarding fear and his analytic thinking might just black out while he gets startled. Not like any panic punch of his noodle arms would actually hurt.

POWERS/WEAPONS:

• Transformation - being a Phooka Lael has the ability to transform in any animal he wants and gains its abilities while maintaining the respective form. He chose the body of an monkey like creature as his default and reverts to it after a few hours to take a break from the exhausting transforming. Therefore, changing his looks to often also wears him down. Giving his lack of stamina the max. number of forms he can change in at once is 3.
  
  
• Sawed of Shotgun - Lael also carries around a sawed of shotgun in plain sight. He has 19 rounds left but never actually uses it if his life is not threatened and he has no other way to escape. Usually the young man just points it into peoples faces to scare them away.

PERSONALITY:

lowkey asshole First time meeting Lael he comes off as a very happy and positive guy that would do anything to help not only his friends but everyone that is in need. But that is nothing but a facade. He does love to give "advice" and will do so whenever asked, though you can never be sure if it is actually true or leads you in a horrible trap. In the end he doesn't mean any real harm and is just a playfull and slightly neurotic supernatural that is used to be suppressed by others. To oppose that Lael ingratiates himself and observes everyone around him to find their weaknesses. He prefers to be the one stabbing others in the back rather than being stabbed himself.
On the other side he is a mostly serious young man and usually calm as long as there is no real threat present. However he is quick to react to surprises in a negative manner, since he can't take control of those kinds of situations and it can easily happen that he sticks his gun in your face as a greeting. Just to show he has and can use it, so others would respect him. Yet he would never shoot and cherishes life above everything, even if his own is most important to him.

HISTORY: 

Despite his family originating in the supernatural realm Lael never knew anything but the human world. The years he spend on the other side were few and the memory of them nothing but blurred feelings. But even if he knew nothing else, the one thing he always knew was that he liked the human world the most. Phookas were one of the weakest supernaturals in the Irish lands he lived in. His kind was often dominated and tricked by others in order to use their useful transformation abilities. Lael learned to build up his tough exterior even more, always seeming like the cool and strong guy while he was just scared of being betrayed and wary of every movement around him.

Like all Phookas he and his whole family liked nothing more than pranking others, their most favorite victims being humans. Therefore , instead of visiting a school or the like the young supernatural spent most his time creating new pranks and waiting for his prey to arrive. Since his first few tries Lael somehow seemed to have a talent for talking and using his language abilities to persuade others. Soon he did not even need to set up traps but could actually talk others into falling for him. Due to those early victories he quickly to started to introduce himself as someone standing about others, stronger and simply superior.

That day the young man just played one of his usual pranks. The wild pony, a classic. True to his kinds roots he was transforming into a wild horse and waiting for someone to approach him, only to run around wildly and kick em around , manically laughing.
After a few rides, and several scared humans Lael continued to gallop through the fields and into the woods. Once he noticed he lost his way it was already to late.
He changed into his human like form, just for the faint possibility of them being around and grabbed the shotgun he always carried around. Usually using it to scare away stronger supernaturals Lael now pointed it at everything he heard or saw moving around him. And it was a lot.
Thinking he might never find out Lael was suddenly able to make out lights in front of him, shining trough the branches.
So the young Phooka slowly walked to it, hoping to find someone that could lead him back to his family.

A red taint laid over the woods when the young man finally left the house. The sound of dry leaves breaking under his feet accompanied him and the faint wind blew the hair out  of his face.
Lael lifted his hand to ruffle through it, making it look even more tangled. The Phooka had spent his last days walking through this town and observing the other inhabitants. Some of them were humans, some not but he didn't care about that. All the young man wanted was to find a weak one. Weak in mind.

A grin forming Lael continued hiss walk through the streets and kicked a little pebble in front of him. Oh how much he was looking forward to meeting them all.
As a woman walked by him Lael simply smiled friendly and waved as a greeting. His eyes following her until she disappeared behind the next corner and his mind thinking about all the possible shenanigans she might be planning.In the end no one was to be trusted.
